Altered Art – a new passion of Benita’s is
Altered Art. This evolving art form utilizes bookbinding,
collage, painting, and of course, photography. Special thanks to
Carol Owen, artist extraordinaire, for always being an
inspiration. |

- Believe canvas: This artwork
was done as a tribute to the children, teachers and staff at
the Children's Center in Winston-Salem, a school for
exceptional children. At times it is far too easy to see
what limitations these children have, but if we look, we can
find the things they excel at such as loving, hoping,
dreaming, and such. I am thankful that they have shared this
with me.
