Photographic Galleries Benita VanWinkle has been a
photographic artist and teacher for over 30 years. From old
movie theaters to hand colored subjects, her interests remain
focused on the vision of preserving the past. Her latest
portfolio, “Alaska, a discovery journey” was done in cooperation
with her teenage son on a recent trip inland in the last great
remaining wilderness of the United States.

Whether it is a landscape or a closer
look at a small detail, these observations are cause for pause
and reflection.

“Handcolored Visions” A photographic portfolio of still life
and landscape scenarios that are hand colored in a painterly
fashion.

strange, the obscure, and the hilarious in American society.
“My Garden” The mysteries and beauty of the vast array of
botanical wonders in a garden.
“Alaska, a discovery journey” Photographs of the last great
frontier, and a cooperative photographic journey with my teenage
son, who I would like to thank for showing me new ways to
visualize the world.

that reflect the personality of a beloved family member or
friend, be it four legged or two.
"Abstractions"
Views of
everyday objects and life, in a not so everyday way.
